| The torch symbolizes the source of flame that warms the heart and at the same time a beacon that inspires students to come to ASEC to gain knowledge and develop their character so as to develop a whole personality that will make them successful in life. |

| The book stands for the source of knowledge. It is open because it signifies that in ASEC, there is nothing that is hidden. Everything is an open book to everyone. |
|

| The torch also serves as the guiding light for the enlightenment of the learners. With the torch and the book, the students will be able to find the knowledge that they need in preparation for their quest for a higher learning and for knowledge that they need for their daily life. |

| To ensure that the students' quest for knowledge and values does not become a burden to them, the wings of an angel cup book and the torch. The wings also symbolize the ASEC management, faculty and staff who are always available to help the learners to make their learning process interesting and lasting. |

| The leaves symbolize nature that has been entrusted to people which the ASEC learners will have to learn to care for. The leaves serve to remind the inventions they embark on. They should use technological inventions for the common good of people but such inventions should not hurt nature. |

| The lone star is the AlphaStar that serves as the first star that the ASEC learners need to reach. It is the initial success in their pursuit for wisdom and truth that will serves as foundation in their desire to serve. |
